King Ranch Saddle Shop

A Texas institution rooted in dust, leather, and legend, King Ranch isn’t just a brand—it’s a place: six generations of grit, craftsmanship, and mythology. My brief was to translate that heritage into a contemporary retail voice without losing its soul. I prepped like an ethnographer—books, archives, oral histories—then rewrote 400+ product descriptions from scratch, turning each into a micro-story of material, place, and purpose. I partnered on-site in Houston to absorb the tactile details—hand-cut leathers, custom-forged knives, waxed-canvas gear—so the language matched the product: rugged, deliberate, unpretentious. Results: online sales up 80% YoY, email open rates 50%+, and the brand’s first unified tone framework and bullet-style product template established.
